I art directed this campaign in collaboration with director Stefan Hunt and copywriters for Kathmandu, the outdoor clothing and gear company. The concept was simple and bold: get out there and have fun. From playing with snow and dancing with the wind to floating with leaves, the creative approach celebrated the joy of being exposed to the elements.
During development, I worked closely with copywriters to build a visual language that mixed animation and live-action, researching references and creating images and gifs to capture the playful, spirited tone we wanted. Casting focused on youth and diversity, while locations were chosen to reflect the adventurous outdoor ethos of the brand.
The result was an original, energetic campaign that brought Kathmandu’s brand spirit to life.
