Create your Nami Bowl.
This workshop invites you to hand-build a unique Nami bowl inspired by the movement of waves. Bowls have long been essential objects, serving not only as vessels for food but also as decorative, symbolic, ritualistic objects, that hold memories, stories, and connections. Your handcrafted Nami bowl will be a beautiful piece, that can serve as a centerpiece for gatherings, rituals, or store jewelry and other cherished items.
Total of 2 sessions, 2 hours each.The first session will cover an overview of ceramic techniques like scoring, slab and coil building. Each student will be invited to reflect on the personal significance of their Nami Bowl and set an intention for its creation. Once the piece is bisque fired, you will explore ways of glazing your piece.
All materials, tools, and firing are included. This workshop is open to participants aged 18 and older, both English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to sign up. No experience is required for this class.
Make your mate cup.
Yerba mate is a drink that originated with Indigenous people in South America. As an Argentinian and avid yerba mate drinker, I’m thrilled to share this tradition with you. In this workshop, you will learn about the various mate cups made throughout South American history and create your own. Once the pieces are ready, we will come together to drink yerba mate in your handmade cups, honoring these creations.
You will learn to build the piece using the ancient technique of coil building, with the option to sketch the form before starting. No experience is required, and the piece will be fired and glazed by the studio.
The workshop consists of two sessions, each lasting two hours. The first session will focus on creating the piece, and the second will be a yerba mate ceremony held at the beach.
All materials, tools, and firing, Yerba mate and a mate straw for the ceremony are included. This workshop is open to participants aged 19 and older, both English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to sign up. The piece will be fired and glazed by the studio.
Creativity with Clay.
This workshop invites young people to express themselves freely while playing with clay. You will be making a dish or a small pot using several hand building techniques, including coil and pinch pot. This a playfull class, where they can make the piece their own. No experience is required for this class.

All materials, tools, and firing are included. This workshop is open to participants aged 10 to 17. The piece will be fired and glazed by the studio.
Create your dreamy candle holder.
This workshop invites you to explore the surreal world of dreams by creating a candle holder that honors your unconscious. We’ll delve into the historical power of candlelight to illuminate darkness, creating intimate settings for reading, dining, and rituals. Held by candlelight with tea, the session will cover an overview of ceramic techniques like scoring and coil building. Each student will be invited to reflect on the personal significance of their candle holder and set an intention for its creation. This piece can represent a moment for meditation, relaxation, reflection on dreams, or an object to enhance gatherings and celebrations.
